Sovereign AI · On-Premise · GDPR & AI Act
For organisations handling sensitive data and treating digital sovereignty as a requirement, Bestlog Technology designs and deploys artificial intelligence solutions on-premise or on a sovereign cloud, with open-weight models and no API calls to third-party clouds outside the European Union.
Why on-premise
Risk managers, DPOs and innovation leaders share the same constraint: using AI without exposing sensitive data to third-party cloud providers. Our on-premise approach addresses this requirement directly.
Models run directly on your infrastructure or on dedicated infrastructure in Europe. No API calls to a public AI cloud.
Full traceability of the models used, internal governance, no international transfer of personal data.
Open models running as local AI (Mistral Large, DeepSeek, specialised extraction and embedding models), without proprietary lock-in.
Architecture already in production on our BestDocSolution platform: publications are automatically converted into audio by an AI running on our own GPU server in Europe, with no calls to any external AI service.

Our method
Analysis of the data involved, regulatory constraints (GDPR, AI Act) and the infrastructure available or to be planned.
Choosing the models suited to the use case (extraction, generation, embeddings) from the best open-weight options available.
Setting up the infrastructure and models directly on your premises or on dedicated infrastructure in Europe, with no external cloud calls.
Performance monitoring, model updates and ongoing support for your technical teams.
Frequently asked questions
Sovereign AI refers to artificial intelligence solutions whose models, data and infrastructure remain under the full control of the organisation using them — on its own servers or on a sovereign cloud — with no dependence on a foreign cloud provider. It is digital sovereignty applied to AI: control over sensitive data and regulatory compliance.
With public cloud AI, data travels to third-party servers, often outside the European Union, to be processed by proprietary models. With on-premise AI, open-weight models run directly on the company's infrastructure: no data leaves the internal perimeter.
On-premise deployment makes GDPR compliance easier because personal data is never sent to a third party. It also makes applying the European AI Act easier, by giving full visibility over the models used, their traceability and their governance.
Bestlog Technology relies on open-weight models (such as Mistral Large or DeepSeek, embedding models like BGE-M3 and text-to-speech models), orchestrated with Ollama and deployed on dedicated GPU servers in Europe or directly on the client's premises. This architecture already runs in production to convert the publications of our BestDocSolution platform into audio.
